No amount of money is worth the abuse and trauma inflicted on Billy, day after day, year after year. It is common knowledge that STRESS KILLS, it can’t get any more obvious that he’s terribly stressed.. How can people in that area possibly enjoy paying to see Billy so unhappy and miserable.

I just pray that Billy makes it out alive and that he has at least a few years of his life lived in comfort, with companionship.

I have been an animal and wildlife activist for over 50 years. Zoos in this day and age should no longer exist. They make false claims that they are in the business of education. Yet, caging animals and seeing them outside their natural habitats have no educational value whatsoever. What the L.A. zoo does succeed in is torture and animal cruelty. The repetitive movements that Billy exhibits is quite common in caged animals where they are unable to roam, hunt or socialize. It is a slow death.
